I am currently obsessed with object outlines, specifically clothing outlines. I like the idea of framing objects with other objects. In this picture it's a face within a jacket. Why this appeals to me, I am not entirely sure. But it most likely has to something with the fact that I like clothes. Recently I read an article in Photoshop user about using filters to design with. Two of my favorite filters, Threshold and Cutouts where used. I applied a couple of the steps in the article to my original photo with the face. Then I copied and pasted an object from Illustrator, selected, inverted the selection, moved it to my liking and then deleted the rest of the image.
As I mentioned, I'm currently obsessed with this idea. I've been working hard, but haven't officially completed anything yet, too may ideas. So to move past this, I'm posting this image in hopes that I'll have a deciding flash of creativity and finish the other projects. In the meantime, I sure am having fun experimenting.
